NAN MULFORD

I owned and operated the Nan Mulford Gallery in Rockport and Rockland Maine from 1997 until 2006. I represented more than forty artists in all media and had a wonderful time, but in the fall of 2006 I decided to move on to new adventures.

Now, after a year’s stint in Colorado as a VISTA volunteer, I am back in the art biz. My first show is a small retrospective of the work of my old friend Liz Gribin. Those of you who visited my Maine gallery will certainly remember Liz’s work.

The exhibit will run from February 5 to March 31, 2009 at the offices of Hammond Residential Real Estate, located at 10 Berkeley Street, Boston, in the ATELIER 505 Building, near the Boston Center for the Arts. An opening artist’s reception, to which the public is cordially invited, will be held on Thursday, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. Please call the Hammond offices at 617-587-4600 for directions. And be sure to visit Liz’s website at www.lizgribin.com.

I hope to see old and new friends at the reception, but if you are unable to be there that evening, I encourage you to visit the exhibit during February or March. About a dozen paintings spanning Liz’s career will be on view and for sale, as well as a good collection of etchings and prints, both framed and unframed. Hammond is open seven days a week, during business hours.
